I'm only level 71, why have I been grouped in with level 80+ players in events?

Now the activity competitions in the game have been changed to relatively fair.
Previously, low-level pilots couldn't even complete the projects that needed to be completed in the activity competitions
And according to my inference, the grouping of the competition is somewhat related to the amount of land expansion

Ok, thanks flyhores, I'll just have to be content with 89th place then and maybe completing the event, because there's no way I can be in the top 10 when 10th place is at 140000 after just one day.

i dont think its based on expansion. at least not alone. Cause im competing with others easily twice or trice the land size than i have. but they are all in the same 10 lvl bracket. 41-51

Up until now I've always competed with people on the same level, maybe a couple of levels either side up or down, but never more than 10
