What's the radius it reaches for auto collecting?
I guess, but remember collecting pax has a limit based on terminal size. Not sure if it auto collects past that. However, cash you can collect infinitely, hence it's appeal for auto collecting. To me Visa Centre for auto-collecting passengers is worth it, though. 500+ pax for 15 silver tokens? Pretty good...
No, it can't. But! You need to open and collect a time-based contract. It's not endless. When you have one or more passengers open in your terminal you can load them all, going over your terminal total. I used it primarily with the cottages (1pax/2min) and side wings (2pax/5min). Instead of clicking them every time they're loaded, it auto-collects for an hour (base contract for 15 silver). 6 Side Wings, 6 Cottages and 4 Windy Houses: circa 500 pax an hour...I guess, but remember collecting pax has a limit based on terminal size. Well when I mean endless I mean you can collect as much money as you want without a limit. I know the contracts are for a certain period of time, but if you collected 1 billion coins within an hour (hypothetically speaking of course), you can collect that at the end of the term regardless of how much coins you have. With pax, your terminal needs to be at least 1 pax away from full if you want to collect your pax at the end of the auto collect period. I guess for me, auto collecting pax is really only useful if I'm going away for a few hours and I cant fill it up before I go. Even for cottages and side wings, I only heavily rely on them when flying maps, and during those times, I need them right away, so autocollecting is no good. Auto collecting items is also kind of pointless. If you miss collecting an item, it just gets delayed for a bit. The only time autocollecting items is a necessity is if you are absent from the game for more than a day. However, auto collecting coins is far more beneficial. You could use the eatery and auto collect for even just an hour and gain 60 coins without having to collect each time, which turns the eatery into a very useful building. No, it can't. But! Send and return one flight and there are your 60 coins. It's 2.880 coins for 24 hours for 6 eateries. You'll need a Grand Hotel's worth of silver to pay for the contracts. You make more money launching for those silver coins than make spending them. You could use the eatery and auto collect for even just an hour and gain 60 coins without having to collect each time, which turns the eatery into a very useful building.
...not with the current contracts. However, if auto collecting had a different spin, the story might be quite different. Launching is probably the fastest way to get some quick money, but what about when you're not launching? I don't always have the resources to captain a red launch, so I need to rely on my coin buildings to have a guaranteed income. Now I dont have an eatery because they just arent efficient enough, but they certainly can become a decent coin generator if the auto collect feature isn't as costly as it currently is (60/hr is certainly decent). Flights and collections give a lot of money too of course, but if one chooses the right coin collecting buildings, they certainly help a great deal when launches arent possible. Whether I launch or not, I easily make more than 20k coins a day just from collecting from buildings. That goes a long way, and gives me a nice cash flow.Send and return one flight and there are your 60 coins. It's 2.880 coins for 24 hours for 6 eateries. You cannot convince of me benefits of those coin collectors...
It won't. As @Agent_L put it quite eloquently: they're a token pit. Designed not to restart your CBMs and buy greens......not with the current contracts. However, if auto collecting had a different spin...
And as much as I hated agreeing with him, he was absolutely right (nothing against @Agent_L of course....just the idea that they were token pits). I wouldn't be too sure that change isnt coming though. Ivan mentioned in another post that they were thinking about making modifications to those buildings. Will they still be token pits? Maybe....but I'm hoping he read the link I gave him and thought of a new idea to make them more enticing. It won't. As @Agent_L put it quite eloquently: they're a token pit. ...and with the potential not to have CBMs anymore, there would be a huge void in terms of what to do with gold tokens. Most would put them into the reserve hangar 2, and a few would go after faster planes. It won't. As @Agent_L put it quite eloquently: they're a token pit.
