Windows Avatar change under Windows 10

Brought this up in chat but thought might get a better response here.

As a Windows 10 user I wonder if one can change the in-game avatar from basic pilot to at least one associated with the account one is logged with on their WIN10. If yes, how so?

There is no way for Windows players to change the profile photo (avatar) in the game.
I am Windows 10 user and i hope Gi fix this in the future.
