I've also reported this as a bug. I can tap the launchpad all day and still can't get to the launch screen :-(

I get that message too. but when i tap the launch pad, nothing happens :-(

I would go with a canon - I've got one of their 'hybrid' cameras' the powershot G11. I can either have it as point and shoot, or go and fit extra lenses to it. It's a nice camera to use, and still has a viewfinder on it, which was something I decided I really had to have.

This feels like a case of either spending real money to complete the mission, or waiting it out until the time expires - personally, I'm leaning towards being patient! All I can say is that as a software developer, my boss would be asking serious questions if I delivered an update that slowed...

I'm suffering the same way - if I try to visit my neighbours, it just hangs on the 'please wait' screen. I had high hopes of the last update fixing it :(

I got to level 35 on Thursday, and since then I can't send any gifts or visit anyone no matter what their username is. I'm told I've reached my limit with both gifts and how many people I can visit. Coincidentally, this is after I installed the travel agency update. Any thoughts?

I'm playing this on an Asus Transformer and have this issue as well. Plus the fact that you don't seem to be able to send ergonomic chairs or smoke detectors any more... :(
