If you are a beginner, the best way to earn coins is to build a lot of coin-earning buildings. Of course, you have to save all your greenies and make sure to get the weekly bonuses that GI gives. Another is to keep sending flights. You need the drops and stars from them anyway so it's all good...

I lost count how many times I lost greenies by tapping on them accidentally. One time, I lost 18 greenies in one tap. Not only were they hard-earned. There were times I paid real money for them. Yep, real life paying customer here.

Yea... don't like tall buildings as well cause they hide the smaller ones. This is why I tend to place them in the far end corner of the city.

I didn't know you could buy them with real money. I thought the only way to get them is through alliance. But of course, that doesn't say much cause I don't know much about this game.
