I do know that GI have said before that whilst we should all be on the same version - i.e. 8.50, the sub versions will vary by platform, and thats intended as different platforms may need additional updates or fixes unique to them, so 8.50.0 and 8.50.0.2 are fine and ok, and may stay the same...
