Yeah you're correct, 0100 UK time until the clocks change and then it goes back to 0000. Think that works out at 0300 Moscow time, so @Canadian Cowboy you can work out when your game has the daily reset (gifting and ability to visits neighbours resets). Top 100, Space and Alliance rankings reset currently at 2200 (UK time) on each Sunday which I think is 0000 Moscow time.

There is no way that the drops are random, 60 flights to Lima, 72 flights to Los Angeles + the flights from Friday night to Sunday spy glass used & not 1 drop... I've read somewhere 2 people had to wait over 100 flights to get a single drop + 1 person saying 350 flights before he got a drop... I honestly don't believe its random, in my opinion I believe G! are holding the drops back hoping that players will buy greenies.... I've gone through a lot of my neighbours airports & it seems the players without casino, bank, mint are struggling to complete the last part of the event... (I know we have 15 days left)...

When I first started playing Airport City the drops were regular & a joy to play but now it seems the drops are not coming & the Jumbo Ranger plane wont be in my Airport because its getting to the point where I need to COMPLETE 1 collection per day I cant see that happening especially when its 5 days in & I'm still waiting for my first drop

This is exactly why I have always said that mint/bank/casino should be made available to everyone at least once or twice a year. Those of us who have no got them are staying a big disadvantage. Many choose not to get them not realising how important they were or didn't have the resources to get them at the time.

It's only since I joined this excellent forum that I have massively increased my income from the game and have been waiting patiently for these buildings for a long time

if the drop rate is 1/100 that means a MINIMUM of 500 flights to complete the cold war collection ONCE or 1500 to complete it 3 times but what if your trying to get the jumbo ranger.... 5000 flights in 3 weeks.. I think I have more chance of winning the lottery than completing this event

My feeling is that the drop rates are changing as we progress with the side quest. First we are supposed to complete 1 Gates of Hell collection, then 1 They're Not Rocks collection. After that, we have a task to fly to Los Angeles for a nitrogen cylinder (Cold War collection item). I got it immediately, even though I sent 117 flights to Anchorage without any luck before...

I have 4 institutes of volcanology but nothing else.

Today I have just started to get rocks from the volcano, I'm sure it will improve, many of the previous quests started off very slowly

Free2Play, Hello Ivan... I think you need to sack the cargo workers that load the plane travelling to Lima because they have forgot to load items for the Cold War collection... I have sent 91 planes to Lima & I haven't got a single drop.. I've used the spy glass & dice & that never helped... I read in one of your messages that the drops are random but surely 0/90 is very bad especially in an event.. also planes have to go to the repair base which makes the event that little bit harder... At what point can we expect a drop from the cold war collection??

Once the event has expired can we still fly to the destinations to get items for the cold war collection to try & get the jumbo ranger?

I have got one Institute but in last 20 visit i had got NO jackhammer..from visiting 50 burnt tree i have got 3-5 chainsaws and from 10 chainsaws i have got 1-2 filters so to finish this quest is pure sci-fi.....

Yup, the drop rates are the same whether you use a bonus or not and whether you use multiple bonuses.

Chainsaw drop rate when visiting neighbours has definitely increased with the new Android update. Before update, each neighbour visit was dropping a maximum of 1 chainsaw, but now seems to be dropping 2 or 3 per neighbour visit.

Since the event started, I have completed 14 Volconologist Equipment Collections. That is 14x5= 70 drops. I have completed 131 Volcano flights. That is a 53% drop rate.

However, for the Cold War collection, I have 2 TOTAL drops. So far this week since Sunday and not counting the previous week, Ive done 162 flights to CW destinations (Bali, Lima, Osaka, Bogota, LA). 2 drops . That is a .01% drop rate. Only .01% when also using 3 Spy Glass bonuses so far!!!???

If both items are listed as Very Seldom, how is this possible?? Mathematically, this is no longer considered random.

Don't get me wrong, Im really enjoying this new event. It has a funny storyline and I like the creativity. Can't wait to see what damage comes next. I like that this is taking a little more time to complete. But after noticing that Im not the only one struggling to collect CW items, I wanted to share.

For me the reset time seems to be 6 PM local time. I got my first "Gates of Hell" collection. I will find out tonight if the drop rate for chainsaws from neighbors has improved. I could certainly use more chainsaws and more filters.

I wonder if the new update will allow android to send chainsaws to PC??? That would be sweet. That one was a major glitch! No updates showing for win pc yet.

I have an android game and I never had problems with gifts and I received the Chainsaw every time

There were quite a few PC users who could not receive chainsaws from android. Fuel and other items were received fine, but not chainsaw.
