How long have you had to wait for the flight school items?

I've been waiting for a textbook for about a week now!
So many flights to Malta just not dropping the item. Obviously it's stopping me getting longer flights for upgrading other buildings.
Should I spend cash on it or just be patient.

Best bet is to find a neighbour / player who has one and ask them to send it to you.
