iOS Subscription option is unavailable

    For once the subscription ads appeared and at the time I didn't know what it is and skipped it. Later on I realized that it is helpful and planned to subscribe but my subscription option is completely gone so that I couldn't subscribe at all.

    I contacted tech support a week ago but it wasn't useful. The response was slow and the information is useless.
    First the tech support asked me to clear cache and restart my pad. But I am using iPad and there is no clear cache option at all. Restarting didn't help of course.
    Second the tech support asked me to switch to a stable network. hmm.. This does not seem a serious option at all. My network is stable and switching didn't help either. I myself is a senior software engineer so I know what is reasonable and what is not...

    I asked to help to subscribe me first so that I don't need to wait while the developers are debugging the issue. I said I can pay for it but there is no response at all.

    I feel I am not alone and this might be a big issue as many people don't know the option to subscribe and you guys may lose revenue because of it.

    Update: This issue got even worse.

    Yesterday I was told by tech support that I should uninstall the game and reinstall the game to resolve the problem. I backed up my profile in game center to iCloud and uninstalled it. I reloaded my profile but still didn't see subscription.
    I also installed the game on my iPhone and found the subscription option is available on my iPhone, but I don't see how to load my iPad profile here.
    Today, I wanted to see if it is my profile problem or my iPad problem, so I uninstalled the game again (of course I backed up game center to iCloud before doing so) and reinstalled it. This time, I still didn't see the subscription for the new account, it proves something is wrong in my iPad. But even worse, the dialog to prompt me to load old profile is gone as well.
    So, I ended up losing my progress somewhere in the cloud. I know it is there but I cannot reach it.
    Tired of dealing with this.

    The profile is restored. Later that day I got the prompt to pick which profile I want to go.

    Also solved the mystery subscription issue. It turned out that the crown is hooked up with iOS in-app purchase. I turned off in-app purchase on iPad on purpose because it is mainly used by kids. But the option is on on my iPhone. .. Once the in-app purchase is on, the subscription crown appears. I didn't think about it because other purchases always show up to ask me to buy greenies and coins...

    ah ok ! ! ! difficult to find this ! I didn't even know that we can turn off/on in-app purchases !
