For Star Chaser, here the calculation , let say you stay awake 18hours/day and remember you not allowed to leave your game at all, since you need to collect Romantic Passenger

Kiss Cafe will produce : 252 passenger/day x 6 building x 14 days quest = 21168 passenger
Outdoor Cinema will produce : 240 passenger/day x 6 building x 14 days quest = 20160 passenger
Minimarket will produce : 360 passenger/day x 6 building x 14 days quest = 30240 passenger
Motel will produce : 100 passenger/day x 6 building x 14 days quest = 8400 passenger
Drive in Theater will produce : 220 passenger/day x 6 building x 14 days quest = 18480 passenger

Total Romantic Passenger you get during 14 days quest will be 98448 Romantic Passenger only

To get 3 star using Falcon you need 350 passenger x 400 flight = 140000 Romantic Passenger, You still short a lot

Now you want to spend real money buying 150 Romantic Passenger cost you 5 Bank Cash, how many Bank Cash you have to spend???

Bahama Island : 7360 passenger
Porto : 12960 passenger
Linz :25760 passenger
Karlovy Vary : 45600 passenger

Are you willing to spend 7018 in this quest, please remember every quest this year will get new destination and probably all new quest like this Valentine quest.

Hi all,
I've also have an issue/error on all 3 of my games ( android).
A side-quest is telling me to collect from the Motel. I've collected the past 2 days on the Motel on all of my games, but
the side-quest doesn't react or complete when i click my Motels, it's still asking for it.
Has anybody experienced this too???

You do not have to spend bank notes to "win" this quest. You only have to satisfy the three challenges. Yes, I'm a star chaser too, but I'm not even going to try and three-star each of these new destinations. (It's the same as with the last Long-awaited Mail quest.)
In a perfect world, GI would continue these destinations when the quest is over, with normal rewards. But this is not a perfect world and we have to adapt our strategies to play in it.

Hi Tom, off course i agree with you, i don't want to spend Bank Notes to get 3 Stars, i have to realize now chasing Star will be very expensive in this game.

Last year, we have different Valentine quest (On the Wing of Love) , there 5 destination on that event, many of player including myself not able to reach 3 star since last year is my first Valentine quest, so we will stuck with 1 star or 2 star on last year Valentine quest, since GI will not repeat it anymore.

Hi all,

You have to obtain the item that drops from the motel, not just click on it. Depending on luck, this could take a while.

Everything is working fine for me.
Only thing that I see as issue is getting romantic Passengers, buildings are good but we have to wait, there is one thing missing and that is bonuses like cupid's arrow etc which helps in boosting output, Also last year we were able to get romantic Passengers as drop's from Venice etc, but not this year.
Rest this event is achievable and it's a challenge to get 3 star's in all destinations.

Yes, GI is really stingy with Romantic passengers this year.

I had a few Romantic Passengers in my Warehouse from last year, and I was wondering where I got them from. That made me think and I just realized that no flights this year drops Romantic passengers.

Romantic buildings is the only source (or maybe you can buy from the Duke).

To complete the collection, you can only get these items from your own built carriage workhouses, and not from visiting neighbour

No, you can only collect items from your own carriage workhouses, See also the information on the collection tab. And for the drops you have to be very patient.....

I must admit that I am about to defend GI actually on this post

First, the quest, while hard, is pretty clear, and it's the first one in three years that actually has us "senior" players doing what we were doing when we started playing the game. Send flights all the time (strategically, choosing plane type and destination according to our budget, time, etc.) and waiting for items to drop. The quest is 13 days long, which means it will NOT end like in previous re-ran quests where most of us (old-timers) could complete in two or three days. Hence, I considered this quite a challenge to play and try and complete the quest.

I understand people chasing stars, and I am not necessarily disagreeing. But, to me the priority are the new buildings, the quest itself, and the associated reward building vs. the stars. I do also understand that next year or the year after, I will be able to three-star many of these flights, just like I was able to do the Halloween flights this year, the Area 51 flights, etc. At the same time I also understand why GI disabled the old romantic buildings from providing romantic passengers, because if they did, old players would have an advantage. At the same time, old players do have the advantage of having more land (especially us who were able to get Casinos (and Mints/Banks) before their price skyrocketed) hence old players can put more buildings. The fact that these buildings go on the airport side is also a big plus, as most of us have plenty of airport space (for example, I can put all new buildings including the Carriage Workshops) on the airport side, while having 8 Level 5 and 6 runways) and a bunch of power stations. Besides, the amount of buildings that so far go to the airport side have been very limited, and lots of us were using our airport side for even drawing our names

So far I have to say that the spy glass and the sky captain bonus worked like a charm - I have completed already 4 carriage workshops, and I am one drop away from completing the Jewellery Box collection three times! The Carriage workshops so far today (first day completed) have given me a total of two drops, with the spyglass/sky captain bonuses, and I am constantly running a combination of falcons and turboprops to Seychelles and Atlantic City. I chose the turbo probs because after this quest, I want to do the Abandoned Space Port quest, hence strategically I was given a choice. I sold my 4 Giants and put my Gold Giant in the reserve hangar, and thus fly 4 turpoprops and 8 falcons to the destinations above...

Bugs aside (I know Android players have some issues), this so far has been the best update for me, and I was SO close to giving up on AC alltogether...

I agree totally. This is a brand new quest, the first one in a long time. Yes, the old Romantic Buildings don't give Romantic Passengers ... but they are old and no longer relevant. I was so expecting an On the Wings of Love 2016 quest that I created a thread for it. Was I surprised when it wasn't to be. Was I thrilled with a new quest? Yes and yes.
The key to being happy with Airport City is to play the game the way it is, not the way you would like it to be!
