I don't think anyone has finished yet. My Level 8 buildings don't finish for two more days. By then I hope to have all the items to finish them. My gut instinct is that the items will remain in our gift list.
UPDATE: My gut instinct was wrong. The items do disappear from your gift list after the upgrade!

Why is that your instinct since the Level 7 gifts disappeared after building the last Level 7 building? (I should have known the Level 7 issues, but it was a shock when it happened to me!)

The Level 7 items were in my gift lists for months after my last Level 7 building was completed. They remained in both my games' gift lists until the latest update, when the Level 8 items replaced them.

That's interesting. By the time I finished my Level 7 Buildings (lack of coins), they disappeared...at least I thought immediately. I never thought about/questioned it until now.

there was a difference between android and ios.
ios had the items (level 7) all the time...
android had an update a few month ago. from that time the control tower gift disappeared after building it.

that is what I am affraid of and this is extra difficult for blocked people as collecting items is more difficult....

edit: items disappeared directly from flights....

Just updated. Everything seems to be working so far, and I can visit Apple neighbors again.

After the last update I have 3 issues anyone could answer?
1- I only leveled up to level 43 and not 45 eventhough I had over 1 million xp!
2- level 7 gifts disappeared
3-My drill machine gift appeared again after getting switched by insulation few updates back.

IMPORTANT NOTE
I just completed my Town Hall and the Holographic Displays disappeared from my gift list. I was wrong in my hunch that the Level 8 gifts would remain. I will hold off completing my Control Tower and Terminal until more of us have the Level 8 items we need.

Saw the below message on the GI Facebook site so sent them a ticket about losing my 6 donut shops on Pakman after the last update. I have requested reimbursement of my 30 greenies but imagine i will get back the usual BS response.

Anyone else sent out a ticket and had a response yet?

I just send them a ticket for my two missing Brazilian Cottages after the last update.

My response from GI was the same that someone else posted on the forum. It is all supposed to be fixed in the next upgrade. One can only hope that GI keeps that promise.
