All remaining land goes to trying to put coin producing buildings there. I also like to leave a little bit of room just in case I need it for the future. I also leave a little room population wise incase I need to reserve it for event buildings.

I need a bunch of passengers because flying a Giant takes a whopping 500. I would have more passenger buildings, but I just drag and drop my buildings into a designated square where I have maximum bonus population with the Trees and Subway Station.

And those House of Disturbance gigantic towers I have, I don't ever really use, those are just there when I need a replenishment of my passengers when I'm flying Excavation flights.

None of this makes sense...I know. Sorry.

there are certain items i have lots of trouble with it dropping...anyone else have similar experiences? items like: bali crest (needed to complete spyglass collection), maps from excavation routes. i know it says these items drop seldom/ very seldom, but i've flown to bali over 1000 times now, and i've NEVER gotten a bali crest. also flown to mesoamerica 22 times, only got 2 maps to drop, both machu picchu, flown to ancient rome 38 times and only got 2 maps also to drop.

anyone have any tips for getting these items to drop? obviously, using a spyglass or something would help, but i can't get any of those (without using greens)!

It's polite but you're not expected to tip everyone. Mostly wait staff and hotel staff.

But how much? 10%?. In Estonia we dont tip much or at all, tipt once when waitress were really polite. I pay with card and i dont have had cash like a year with me. Lol, now i think i am wierd.

@RavenENTP and @Faith1984 i did, but @KingKong asked me to delete it, so i did. anyways, i didn't mean to create a big deal, and it wasn't a secret, it was just responding to jake regarding the casino, and i wasn't sure if the game creators read this forum, so i sent it to him privately. it was just saying what others in this forum have confirmed with the casino.

Bali Crest, very rare drop. I think they just drop the odds down when a flight duration is short.

For excavation routes to get maps, I just always fly them at night without expecting a map. I just buy a bunch every other week like it's a normal thing to do...

I believe it is random as not everyone struggles with the same items. For example, I have 4 Bali crests but have been flying to Iceland forever without much luck.
When it comes to the excavation maps I read elsewhere on the forum that people used the "Dice" bonus to increase the chance of maps sropping. I have not tried this myself yet but will soon as I have 2 Dice in my warehouse.

In restaurants 15-20% is acceptable. Some restaurants will automatically include it in your bill but you're informed beforehand. But you're not obligated to tip at every restaurant, like fast food places. For hotels, usually $5 is ok for each the bellman and room attendant. If unsure, it's perfectly acceptable to ask.

I thought the "Dice" did not improve the odds for items that are part of a collection (such as the space and excavation flights). I thought one needed the "Golden Dice" for those items. Is that not so?
