I think insight are holding back on it for some reason. Be quite interesting when it does go live though.
Development Deadlines. I expect the visit functionality wasnt ready in time for the last update. Interesting that there is a visit button against neigbours even though it doesnt work yet.
If you think about it, the functionality to visit other airport citys is quite a lot of work; your airport would probably need to be uploaded to a server somewhere, and the game software then has to be able to access it, display it and treat it differently to your airport. You wouldnt want visitors to be able to sell your buildings for you, would you?!?
The testing on this sort of development would probably take as much effort as the programming

.I also think that this feature will only work, if both neighbours are online at the same time. Otherwise you would just see an old version of the city and airport of your neighbour. And from where should GameInsight know, what your city and airport will look like, when you wasn't online for days?
