Not sure what your airport is like, but best to buy a bowling alley instead of a hotel. No need to collect items for it and has the same refresh rate (plus a whole extra 1 coin per hour).

I'm already planning to buy a Bowling Alley, but now it looks like I'll have have room for two more 2x2 buildings and the Hotel seems more useful than the Travel Agency, Opera Theatre, Private Clinic or Loft. I could place a second Perfume Store from inventory or build two Bowling Alleys, but neither of those options would help with my outstanding quests.
