I consider myself lucky as for guest drops.Today from my first 7 landings I had 4 musical instruments,28/40 so far.

I have some tips :
1. Dont fly for Music Arena items, just exchange or watch videos. But if you wanna fly, go ahead. Just pick the seldom one.
2. Musical instruments, how to get it. Here is the rate 1:8, but..... Land 8 planes in your runways, and collect them all. Do not do 1 by 1 or 2 by 2.

Woooo, just had my first musical instruments drop. So, by 2019, I should have the 40

Campsites completely useless so far. What is the drop rate for the arenas?
Mine hasn't built yet.

Well, I only have enough items for 1 at the moment, so I think I'll keep asking neighbours for jackets and hope I get enough. I'll send some flights to London and if I get enough from there, I'll consider building another.

I don't think I'm going to finish this event.

1 guest plane per minute, 40 necessary instruments, at least 40 minutes. At 5% drop rate, that makes 800 minutes aka 13+ hours. In one week. Someone with no life out there?

Landed well over 100 planes and 0 drops. I'm giving up on this unrealistic event. No music in my town.

i am finding that if i leave the ipad open, do what i need to and then land 2 guest planes, most of my drops are before i go to work too, then i dries up considerably,
8 before work yesterday, 6 today, 1 at lunch breeak today

If the jackets that were in your warehouse before the event don't count, then what's going to happen when you run into the 100 items limit? You can't accumulate more than that, so...?

Certainly, the building drops will stop working.
Taking gifts from the inbox may or may not be counted. It depends if they have to hit the warehouse.

I wasn't sure whether anyone with the 100 limit would have been active when the jackets were last given out.

Last time this event was here, I had six Music Arena’s. But this was before you could store buildings, so after the event, when I needed land...I sold them all! Kept my Festival Camping though as they were good for collecting coins every 20 mins! It’s been years since this was here last and the reward was a 1X1 building. How about some more 1X1 reward buildings GI! These 2X2’s that give minor coin counts slowly are getting old.

The answer is no, you lose the ability to send gifts as this event does not have its own gifts and bonuses.

Christmas was a special case as they introduced a new concept of gifts and bonuses.
