Item sent isn't what is received

Hi,

Im new to this forum so apologies if I'm not posting this in the right place. I've been playing this game on the iPad for a while now and have only just started adding neighbours. Can anyone tell me why when someone on an android device sends me something specific e.g. Amperemeter a different item is received? This has happened quite a few times now and is becoming quite frustrating!

Please feel free to add me (Simp1710). I'm happy to send items on a daily basis. Please look at my signature for items I require.

Simp1710, regular stuff will cross correctly from android to iPad. Some specific items do not cross but turn into fuel (f.i. Defroster). Quest items and specific building items (shampoo) will not cross and turn into fuel also. Under he guide section there is a thread with a list of items that will cross and will not cross.... (Cross platform gifting)

Ok just a question on cross platform gifting. If I receive fuel but was sent shampoo if I return, is shampoo or fuel received?
Any ideas?
