Windows Is Windows Phone 8.1 still supported?

For background, I left my main game on Windows desktop on an old version (prior to the weekly rankings being merged among platforms, about a year ago) since it was unfussy and played nicely. The plan was to update it when the weekly code stopped worked - I think that happened this week as weekly flights are not logged anymore and the weekly code doesn't work either.

I have a support game on an old Windows Phone (630) that runs WP8.1 and can't be updated to WM10. I also left it on the old version so that both games could swap items. Since that can't be done anymore I've updated the game. It had the same issue as my main desktop game in that the weekly code didn't work - updating solved the problem.

However, my Windows Phone support game doesn't have the weather station and while the game keeps popping up stating that an update is available, the store says that AC is up to date.

I have a 2nd support game running on a newer Lumia 950 - the weather station update is available and works.

Since WP8.1 is now unsupported, can anyone answer if GI have also decided to drop support for WP8.1 or not?

Edit - my 630 has 5.6.8.0 installed and the game suggests going to the store but the store says AC is up to date. AFAIK the current version is 5.7.12.0, which is what is installed on my 950 and desktop
