You asked how to increase the stars faster. Here's what I did:
Every time you complete a flight you earn a point. When you reach the required number of points you earn a star. Here's the trick. For Paris, it takes 23 flights to earn an Apprentice star, 46 flights to earn a Master star and 92 flights to earn an Expert star. So to earn one star (Apprentice) it takes over 146 hours. I went back and looked at the very early flights. The Training Flight takes 2 flights to earn Apprentice, 4 flights to earn Master and 8 flights to earn Expert. So to earn one star (Apprentice) it only takes 8 minutes. I concentrated on becoming Expert on the early flights and gained many stars in a short period of time. Try it!
