I got past the loading screen... and game started me with a brand new account!
Luckily for me, had backed up account info while game was updating - had read how on forum a couple of days ago - PHEW!. Restored that and all back. Game started as per normal - no delay on loading screen, no intro video or tutorial.
Account seems back to normal and game showing version 7.13.26.

Event just started...
