Nice toy, but I have an issue with 1200000 coins for the repair base!
Seriously! Why so expensive? At that price I’d hope all repairs are free.
Maybe on the shopping list after buying falcon, thunderbird and condor planes that cost less or similar.
Ye it is expensive and i can upgraded but i dont think so i will complete my crossbill flights and stop sending Helicopter focus to my falcon.
Also Heli take a lot of time you have to click every few minutes for flight items need it :banghead:

Collecting items for these flights is a pain in the ass, not sure I can even be bothered, there must be an effective way of doing it, anyone care to work it out?
Yes its bothered up to now i spend more than 5000 each from
Microcircuit
Gear
Varnish
Sensor
Still did not complete the crossbill flights it takes long time the best way is only complete upgrade all buildings produce items by using greenies :(

Some of these helicopter related prices are really quite outrageous, there are far better and more important areas within the game to spend your hard earned coins on.

Repair Base H Level 3 - Price tag: 1,200,000 coins
Terminal H Level 6 - Price tag: 1,400,000 coins
Command Center Level 6 - Price tag: 1,300,000 coins

I've done all the crossbill flights, now collecting stuff for the goldfinch is just incredibly boring.

One of the problems in trying to plan this is that the flight items needed for the flights change, making it very hard to plan the 'production' of item. Maybe 500 microcircuits to start...
I don't think it's possible to try to fly more than one type of heli at a time, the supply chain doesn't work fast enough.

Why does the rescourse base produce items at the same time and the others sequentially?

typical Crossbill flight needs: landing skip, 5 wind cones and 3 shield markers

Skid (takes 18 minutes) needs 2 bearings at 18 minutes each. (I've ignored the small items as their time is irrelevant)
Wind cone (takes 18 minutes) is 2 parachutes (each takes 11 minutes )
Shield marker (takes 22 minutes) is 4 cones (, a swivel bearing (8 minutes) and a drive

So minimum of 56 minutes production time in the high tech plant and about 90 minutes in the mechanical plant for one flight lasting between 1hr30 and 3hr00.

So total flight times are 1470 hours, plus repeats to finish the buildings..... If you manage to fly for 12 hours a day then it'll only take 122 days. (oh that's plus building up enough supplies to do it)...

Yes, it is very smart of GI, from their perspective, but not so good for us, the players.

I’m finding myself wasting way too much time NOT walking away from the game because I can “just tap another round of microcircuits”. It’s wearing thin. I’m close to finishing crossbills and have one goldfinch running. Once the crossbills are done, I’m winding back and just going to run the one helicopter and build up some items so I’m not sitting around waiting for stuff.

Major gripe... I spent all the coins upgrading for more helipads and it wasn’t until I had 6 that I realised each pad only allows one helo type!! On what planet can’t a squirrel land on a pad built to take a Huey?!? Fair enough that you can’t go the other way around, but once the first two helo types are done, what do I need 6 pads for? And there are more upgrades available! Without spending a fortune on greenies to open up all production slots (and it will still take non stop tapping) I can’t see me running anywhere near that many goldfinches. :wacky::sleep::drowning:

For me all things helicopter related are a side issue, to the main part of the game e,g. plane flights, space flight etc. these are far more important. Helicopters are designed to be somewhat of a distraction, especially when visiting neighbours, needing gift items to drop from buildings etc.
