Question to all - Do you keep track of gifts received from neighbors, and what gifts you send to neighbors? Is there any efficient way to do this other than scribbling all over a notebook (or cleverly using Excel)?

Also, is there an easy way to see what your neighbors need? I thought maybe following each person, then at gifting time, click on each one to see their signature. Maybe in time, it gets easier???

Thanks for suggestions.

@califcoast - Everyone has their own system. Generally what I do, is when I receive a gift from someone who is a forum member and it says, "Send in return", that indicates to me that I haven't gifted that person that day and I leave the gift there. If it says nothing, that means I've already gifted that person.

Gifting lists depend on each player. I have mine alphabetically for main accounts, then after all main accounts, I have all secondary accounts listed. These are also in alphabetical order. I simply make a note next to the last person gifted that says, "Last gift" (Really technical and original I know). That way, the next day, I know where to start gifting. Also, once they've been gifted, those gifts that I leave up show nothing, and I get rid of them.

Just the way that works for me. Everyone has a system, you'll figure out what works best for you.

As for the gift question, some people have what they need in their game name, which you can see when you are in your neighbor list. I sometimes go by that if in a hurry, or I know that's pretty much what that person wants.

However, I personally don't place my wants in there too often, simply because when I get the item, I have a tendency to forget that I put something there, and leave it forever, or until I get about 50 of whatever it was I needed that is not in my signature. *S*

Good luck!

I have all neighbors in a word document with their wants

Thanks to all for thoughts, prayers and your kind words. It would be so befitting in this game if he were an Airman, in the USAF, however he did serve his country in the US Navy in the mid 50's to early 60's. I'm hoping to gather more info regarding service numbers and time served, so I can put together a collection of medals, letters of Commendations and other memorabilia in his honor, especially for my sister and brother, his children by blood.
Again thank you all for understanding.

Did my best in Gifting from both games, Although I seem to have fell short in !KB2 to gift everyone, !KB is scheduled again in about 9 or 10 hours so hope to catch up on those I missed.
Still a bit hard to cope right now. 1100 miles or so from home, and no way financially to get there, makes it that much more harder. That and some other things rather not said here in public forums.

Will be on the road today working, and will be staying overnight at a hotel, so there will be no gifting from Ten33go or Ten33go2 until Friday evening. Have a great day all and be safe!

I sent you a request. It will get easier - I promise. I do it this way:

1st -Regulars. 8-10/day. regular neighbors who I have come to know over time and keep track of their needs through PM (private message)

2nd New/Needy. 2-5 /day. I scan the most recent trading thread to see who are new or have a building needs I can accommodate.

3rd - Profile name: 5-10/day. Members who gift me AND have their need listed in their gamename , i.e.CluckF20/Deicer. If I run out, then I leave them in the queue for the next day (similar to how @Ten33go described)

There are some exception to this of course. I have gotten the gifting down to less than 10 minutes if I don't get distracted. This week I am home with a sick child so have had lots of time to post and update and catch up - but most of the time I am in a rush!!

A word of advice, If you are a conscientious gifter, it pays off.
