Your Airport City Game - The Eight On Screen In Game Pictorial Square Button Options Explained
I have written this user guide for those of you who are new to the game of Airport City, and have recently started playing your game. This user guide is intended to give you a good understanding of the eight on screen in game pictorial buttons, available to you during game play.

Along the bottom row of your game screen, you will find eight large square buttons. These buttons will allow you to purchase items for your game and perform many tasks. To open them, you will need to select the buttons, one at a time:

1st Button - In Game Store (Silver Shopping Trolley)
Selecting this button will allow you to purchase a wide variety of sale items e.g. Residential Buildings, Commercial Buildings, Airport Buildings, Planes, Helicopters, Industries, Bonuses, Resources and Badges with coins, green notes, silver tokens and gold tokens. The game level you are on will determine the sale items available to you, as will other gaming factors. On the right hand side of the menu, you will find brief information, relating to items you have selected, but have not purchased.
Also on display, along the top row of the menu, will be the amount of coins, green notes, gold tokens and silver tokens you have amassed during game play. By clicking on any one of them, you will be taken to the bank, where you will be able to purchase sale items with your silver tokens, gold tokens, coins and green notes. You will also find eight sale items, with each of the three tabs, discounted bonus items as well as a number of free bonus items.

2nd Button - Flights (Silver Plane)
Selecting this button will display all of the flights destinations available, across 80 game levels, with nine clickable tabs labelled Active, Level 1-10, Level 11-20, Level 21-30, Level 31-40, Level 41-50, Level 51-60, Level 61-70 and Level 71-80, located on the left hand side of the menu. The number of flight destinations available to you, will depend on the game level you are on, the type of planes you have in your fleet and the number of flight item resources you have stored in your warehouse.
As you progress your game, and increase your game levels, more flight destinations will become available. You will also find seven clickable tabs, located across the top row of the menu, labelled Story, Helicopters, Adventure, Alliance, Space, Favorite and Event. They will each display the different types of themed group flights available to you.

3rd Button - Warehouse (Brown Crate)
Selecting this button will display all of the resource items you have stored in your warehouse, which you have amassed during game play e.g. Buildings, Planes, Helicopters, Fuel, Passengers, Bonuses, Resources, Maps and Gifts. You will have received these gifts from your neighbours and from flight drops.

4th Button - Collections (Golden Chest)
Selecting this button will display all of the flight collections that are available and the rewards for completing each of the flight collections e.g. buildings, bonuses, coins, experience points and chests. On the left hand side of the menu, you will find seven clickable tabs labelled All, Story, Helicopters, Space, Adventure, Event and Alliance. These tabs will allow you to divide all of the flights collections into themed flights.

5th Button - Neighbours, Gifts, Alliance (Three People)
Selecting this button will display three options e.g. the first will be a list of all your neighbours, the second will be a list of all your giftable items to your neighbours and the third will be the members alliance group you are with.
The first option will have a series of filter buttons on the left hand side of the menu. The first will be labelled Favorite and will allow you to filter through your neighbours e.g. Alphabetical, Favorite, Alliance, Active and Inactive, with the remaining Add, Waiting and Profile. The second will have two tabs, across the top row of the menu, both these will be gift related. The third will have two tabs, across the top row of the menu, labelled Alliance and View. They will display your members alliance group information.

6th Button - Your Game Site (Four Sided Green Arrow)
Selecting this button will allow you to make a number of changes to your game e.g. move buidings (you will need to have some free space on the city side or airport side of your game in order to reposition buildings), insert roads, sell buildings, rotate buildings and place buildings in storage.
When you select a building by clicking on it, a circular menu will appear on your game screen, it will display a number of options. Some of these options will be availabe to you, while others will not e.g. not all buildings and structures can be removed from your game. Also, buildings on the airport side of your game, can not be moved to the city side of your game and vice versa.

7th Button - Ratings (Winners Podium)
Selecting this button will display five tabs, located along the top row of the menu, labelled World Map, Top 100 Alliance Members Table and Top 100 Green, Blue and Red Launch Flight Tables. Information will be displayed, on the right hand side of the menu, which will relate to each of the five tabs.
You will also find two tabs labelled This Week and Last Week. The first tab will list the total number of passengers carried and space flights completed for the current week. The second tab will list the total number of passengers carried and the rewards earned for the previous week.

8th Button - Settings and Screenshot (Silver Cog Wheel)
Selecting this button will display two options labelled, Settings and Screenshot. By selecting the first option, you will be able to access, along the top row of the menu, the Settings and Social tabs. With the Settings tab, you will be able to turn off the music, turn off the sound, turn off the introduction to the game and confirm purchases. You will also find four clickable tabs, along the bottom row of the menu labelled Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, Tech Support and Language (below these four tabs you will see the game version number and the support identification number). With the Social tab, you will be able to access game related community based websites e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and talk to the Developers. With the Screenshot tab, you will be able to take a screenshot of your game, in case you have any problems, and need proof of your game status.

There is a wealth of user guide information located in the Airport City Guides sub section, of the members forum. The user guides have been written to help you with your game. They will provide you with all the information you need, to help you make a success of your game. You will find that some of these user guides will be relevent to your current game, while others will become relevent, as you progress your game.

Short question, do we have the possibility to swap the position of two buildings in the city or do we have go via a free space to park on of the buildings first?

You will need to have some free space in order to swop the position of two buildings. I will insert a sentence in the user guide about this - many thanks for the question.

Great job for the guide as always, @Captain WH Rollins

A small suggestion maybe to put the screenshot of each icons? Or 1 picture of the whole display with the icons being numbered might work too.
Thank you very much for your post and for your suggestion.

I have thought about doing this in the past, with a number of user guides, but have always been reluctant to do so. I'm not sure I can really give you a good reason why, which would make sense to you and to other forum members reading this post - many thanks once again.

Since first creating this thread and posting to the members forum, I have adjusted the on screen format and have rewritten many sections of the user guide. It now reads much better and has more detail.

Great job @Captain WH Rollins you are really a pillar of information.
When I first started playing the game of Airport City, and then signed up to the members forum, user guides did not exist. It would have been invaluable if they had, it would have made a big difference to my game.

Hope all is well in your gaming world.
