Private General Welcome to Area 51 (Private Trading, Launches & Alliances)

This is a new section of the forum allowing members to take part in Private Trades, Launches and Alliances.

When you create a thread in this section of the forum, you will need to set it to private by ticking the box as shown in the image below:

From there you can also invite the members you wish to take part in the private discussion. When adding members, you don't need to type the @ before the username.

As the thread admin, you will also be able to add and remove members after the thread has been created.

If you check the area 51 forum stats it lists 5 threads. Having not been invited to any of the user created ones I only see this one, so it's easy to see for yourself it works

And just to put minds at rest, I created a Test account and this is all that's visible to someone not invited to any of the private threads.

2 really nice if small bonuses are @name tags work as they should with showing a list of names when you start typing and notifications and the like post button works!

Theres no way to convert conversations into private trades.

If you accidentally create a thread and forget to make it private, there is an option under "Thread Tools" (Next to watch thread) to change the thread from public to private.
