Some news here.

Events launches are no longer linked to numerical update version. That means that we are not bound by the store update when it comes to opening an event.
This week we’re going to launch Riding the Comet event.
As many of you know - it is all about group space launches.

Reward – Parallax Hotel

• Max population cap +20.
• generates 185 coins every 24 hours.
• Plus it might drop items for the space launches.

8.9 update is planned for the next week.
It will bring updated flights interface, as we call it Flights 2.0

About 500 flight images were reworked. And we hope that flight management will be more comfortable cause all necessary flight info is now organized in one place.

Think the disconnection between the events and the update will be well received by everyone. A great step in the right direction. Tell the developers thanks for that.

No more waiting 3 days for the update to be available when others already got it?

Looks great. I am looking forward to the QL frenzy. Also very good that events are seperated from game updates.

It would be even greater when the big reward building would be generating pax instead of coins. I think most higher level players have a warehouse full of coin producing buildings and could use pax more than coins. At least I do.

Preparing for Riding the Comet event

Hi Newbies, The Riding the Comet event is run sometimes twice a year and is generally a pretty easy event to complete IF you are prepared. So what do you need to do to prepare? Build a Mission Control Center (5000 coins). It requires building items to complete so you want to get started on it...

The graphics look great, the devil is in the details. I hope the roll out is uneventful, and that the exterminator has been through the code to eliminate all the bugs.

100 would be fun. That happened a couple of years ago, then it got dumbed down. 75 in 7 days would be poetic. Probably 10.

You are too harsh. I have collected 15 jackets without any problem. All buildings from day 1. 🙃

I would expect they’ll keep 10 launches as task but there will be much more event currency needed to reach lvl20. So most probably if one is looking for the Parallax Hotel, he/she should do a lot of launches.

In the past the tasks have been; visit 10 MCC, visit 10 launch pad, launch 10 rockets.

If those remain, that’d take it to 5 known... wouldn’t surprise me if there was another collection related one and a flight one. But this is purely speculation.
