So I got the Movie Palace. Does it mean I've completed the event? lol cos it didn't pop-up like last time when you got the big reward... Or anyone tell me how GI changed the mechanics of these events?

and btw so the event now doesn't tell you anymore what reward you'll get upon completion?

Depends on how you classify "completed the event"?
- As Chloe mentioned for the forum award then the decision was made to go off completing the x number of tasks. There is no in-game reward (as far as buildings) for completing the tasks you just get currency to make the next bit easier.
- From a historical and individual perspective if you still think of the building as the event reward for completion then it is just getting the 20 levels of progress. And you can see the reward from the start.

You don’t get anything on completion. You pick them up as you go along. That happening is dead.
