Reputation Leveling for Fuel Ring Support

I wanted to see how many consecutive days of max visiting neighbors are required to max out reputation level.
I found a chart for rep leveling points in the guide (assume it is correct) and added #days to get it.
It appears 210 days or 7 months.
Someone was considering a FR with 30 gifsts. I guess that means each support must be min 7 months old.

I used [(#days x #posible visits)+ #pts left after leveling - #points needed to level] for calculation.

Most of this info should already be covered in threads already in this section. You may have added something new (I haven’t gonne back to look at the others) but it‘s rare for this sort of thing NOT to be available somewhere in this section or the forum Wiki pages if you search the right words. My guess is that, collectively, we have documented more information and know more about the inner workings of the game than the majority of G! staff (especially the customer service department 🤪). Don’t let me discourage you from contributing, though! Just highlighting how good these resources are with a little bit of digging 😉. (Note: the last column on your table has a few zeros in it - I got a bit lost trying to work out what the purpose of that column was?)

To answer the question that pushed you to calculate all of this- yes, to grow an account capable of sending 30 gifts will take an enormous amount of time. The vast majority of rings were based around an old restriction of max 20 gifts per account (life was so much easier back then 😵‍💫🥴). After Version 7 software was released, the max number of gifts extended to 30, but the amount of time required to get through those extra 10 levels was exponential to the first 20, so the standard remained at 20. It takes far less time to start a new account and build it to 20 (and join another ring) than it does to get your existing account from 20-30 gifts. Most prefer to take the easier, extra 20 gifts over the drawn out workload for just 10 more.

Despite the reasons above, many players cannot help themselves and continue to play their support accounts. Taking advantage of an already existing account that you open each day anyway, visiting its neighbours to tap each day will only take a few extra minutes and the number of spendable gifts will slowly grow to 30. The standard rings will never be 30 as it just takes too long. However, there are good reasons to consider them. Firstly, you can send a batch of gifts in one hit without having to think about all the extra add ins you want to send to (makes it significantly quicker). possibly the biggest advantage to those that also have the capacity, is that most new players joining will have previous ring experience and, more importantly, can be vetted based on their history as to how reliable they are. It’s all about maximum efficiency and having worked hard to get to the 30 limit, fair enough to want the best returns For effort 😉. Ultimately, when players move on from the game (which occurs regularly), finding replacements in those rings is a lot more difficult so having people that you know are stable and reliable is paramount.

It was just needed for # of days to level up calculation.

At level 1, you visit 4 so you have 4 leveling points. You use up 1 to get to level 2 so you end up with 3 remainder. Since you level up that day, 0 days are required to level up.

At level 2, you visit 5 so your leveling points are 5 + 3 from before or 8. Then you level up to 3 and use up 7 points and you are left with 8 - 7 or 1.

It is there as an accumulator for the previously gained points and what you have left over after leveling points are used up. But, there seems to be a slight error in the last column.

Last column is off in accuracy a bit. But, at gross level, # of days required level up should be accurate.



For the number 0 in the last column;

After you level up to 5, you have 6 points left from all the visits minus points used up to get there.
You visit 9 times each day for 6 days get 54 points then you add 6 points for total of 60 points. You use up 60 points so your remainder point is zero.

I realize that I have used after leveling points multiplied by number of days instead of before leveling points.

So leveling to 6, if you get 8 points instead of 9, it will take one more day that 6 days. I will recheck but it will take one or two days more than above calculation.

OK top spread sheet had formula error.
Absolute min number of days to get there should be 216 not 210.
Zero day to gain level threw me a bit.

Anyway, someone, can't remember who, told some time ago, can't be precise when, that we might have an error on requirements for level 19. Can anyone confirm the 250 points? It has been a long time since I leveled up most of my supports to 30 slots (I've got some below that mark, but not on level 18 yet)

Because of the remainder, you get weird leveling of 12 days for level 8 but 11 days for level 9.

Also, it seems the leveling points were just arbitrarily added instead of following a set rule or curve. One would think the leveling would take progressively longer in number of days but that isn't quite it.

BTW, I would imagine unless you are a robot set to visit max number of neighbors without a miss, actual would take a lot more days than 216 to get there.

Because you max out to 12 visits at level 10, I would assume they would make so it takes longer getting to level 10 but it humps around level 6-7.

Few comments on your calculations:
you start at lvl1 so to reach lvl10 it takes 9 times leveling up and that matches to the sum of first nine numbers (#days) from your sheet in the first post = 43 days.
Manual calculation:
Day 1: you visit 1 neighbor to level up to H2, further 2 neighbors to H3 and 3 more neighbors
Day 2: you visit 4 further neighbors in H3 (total 7) to advance to H4 and 3 more neighbors
Day 3: you visit 7 further neighbors in H4 (total 10) to advance to H5 and 1 more neighbor
Day 4, 5 and 6: you visit 8, 8 and last 3 neighbors (total 20) in H5 to advance to H6 and 6 more
Day 7-12: you visit x9 neighbors (total 60) to advance to H7 and 1 more
Day 13-22: you visit x10 + 9 on day 22 (total 100) to advance to H8 and 2 more
Day 23-33: you visit x11 + 8 on day 33 (total 120) to advance to H9 and 4 more
Day 34-43: you visit x12 + 8 on day 43 (total 120) to advance to H10 and 4 more
Further you need 1x120-4 (4 already visited - that is toward H11), 3x140 (towards H12-14), 3x180 (towards H15-17), 210, 220, 250 (towards H18, H19 and H20) with 12 daily visits = 1,756 / 12 = 147 more days (rounded up) +43 days to reach H10 = 190 days total.

In general you calculate one more level to H21, what does not exist.

@LX Air - Teresa: I confirm - visits to advance to H20 are 250.

Yup. Mid day level up and gaining 1 more visit seems to be missing from the formula. This might be tricky to add into formula but will see. I will look at it again. I have not used If AND statements for evaluation in spreadsheet but this seems like a good place to try and test. :)

You are correct in the last column. Once you reach level 20, no need to get to next level.

The original reputation table had the days taken in it. I know as I did it - im pretty sure but it was ages ago!! . No idea why t isnt there but there will have been a reason, probably related to if you do it everyday for xxxx days OK but if you miss days its way more difficult to keep count so imo the number of visits and reputation points is an easier way to keep count. Im certainly not losing any sleep ove the fact a column is missing!!

As for the 250 days to max, that could (not saying it is yet) be off. I will not say it definitely as I am still struggling with the correct formula. Zero days threw me off a bit.

The reason I say this is based on my start date (around Nov 1). So that was 160 days ago. I am at level 17 with 57/210. I have missed few days here and there and have not max out all the time. I have 55 maxed visit days before getting to level 20. If I played every single day and maxed out visits, that still adds up to 214 days. Far off from 250.

While the sheet was off, I think it still was close to what I am experiencing. But, I will reserve the definite answer until the sheet is done and someone checks the data when I upload it. I think I will post the completed sheet so all can review the sheet.
