It will be important to understand that the Alliance Group Badges do not offer any benefits to your game, they just allow you to personalize your alliance group. If you decide to make a purchase, a small amount of silver tokens would be best spent, rather than gold tokens, since silver tokens are far easier to collect,, whereas gold tokens are far more difficult to collect and take much more time to do so. The gold tokens can be better spent elsewhere in your game, during long term game play, the purchase and/or upgrade of select buildings and the purchase of high speed liveries for your fleet of aircrafts are just two examples.
The Alliance Group Badges can be purchased with Silver Tokens (there are 25 badges to chose from) and Gold Tokens (there are 26 badges to chose from), by Alliance Group Leaders only. They can be purchased from the Game Store, accessed via the Silver Shopping Trolley icon button, the 3rd icon along the bottom row of your game screen, then the 8th icon along the top row of the Game Store Menu. the Silver Blue Shield button icon. Each of the 51 alliance group badges will have its own unique image and themed title.
