Android Cannot connect to neighbors

I cannot connect to almost all of my 150+ neighbors (a message is displayed that the neighbor is away). Same happens even for neighbors that send me gifts

Received a reply from customer service that this will be fixed in a future update. However there was no indication if the update would take days, weeks or months...

I also get this message from Support.
But I can Apple Players visit. You can also visit members in the alliance about the alliance button.

You want to be one of the games that cant open, some iOS games are stuck and wont open since update that's why you cant visit

You should try adding new neigbours.
New neigbours usually can be visited.
Is your iOS game name "Super Pilot 1234" also??

Then i need 12 new neighbors with 5 Planetariums or 5 Universities each....

I have 6 universities and play every day, so unless it's totally bugged you should be able to visit me at least ;-)

I just found out.
The reason that we cannot visit our neighbours is because our game cannot update the status of our neighbours.
The proof is if your games didn't update the newest in game name of your neighbours (only for Android) you are plageud.

So my suggestion to conquer this mess is to go online as long as you can when playing AC.
Some how AC eventualy connect and update the status of our neighbours.
With the exception is @M22 . I still cannot visit him.

Maybe it's related to the fact that you are one of the first updater.

I also lost neighbors I also lost a casino that produced greenbacks and started producing coins that was only 3 days old I also lost a building and some of my flights won't go to certain places anymore its a big huge mess up and they need to fix it tech support sucks on this game

What is going on! Bad enough you guys get dumped out of the rugby World Cup (sorry to keep rubbing it in Neil) it's back to the good old days, @billsnj come back and sort things out!

I saw your launch this week but couldn't add with either game.
Can't visit most of neighbours.
Don't have latest University quest with either game.
Game just blanks out while visiting neighbours!

Rant over, expect we are all just plodding along with similar issues, great we have the forum to share and fantastic neighbours!

You just need to type your gift list once in the signature as gifts usually do not change just get added to as you advance.

the gifts you want usually change on a weekly basis as neighbors fill your requirements.

Only The Oosje seemed to come through in my friends waiting list for some reason, I will try and add the Gerold one to see if that works.

On monday I wrote about going online as long as you can.
But right now I cannot visit any neighbour .. even the iOS.
And to add to the frustration .. for the last 18 hours I didn't receive any gift at all.

I thought all this was behind us but remember "What goes around comes around!" - and so back to Square 1.

I am with you, guys. I am playing very rarely, somedays open iPad just in morning, to post new Daily thread, then collect some coins and harvest my quest buildings. It is so boring on iOS, much more then on android. No manuals for new functions, GI just keep silence, and nothing new about update on horizont. Also waiting for @Dave to help to sort few things about forum here...
