Merry Christmas and Happy new year, pilots!

7.9: We're going to release the first update of 2020 in the first half of January, so there will be a little pause between events.

• Complete the Time to Rock special event to get a Street Food Festival!
• Street Food Festival is a commercial building that takes 2x2 tiles and produces 90 coins every 4 hours.
• Street Food Festival also boosts output of residential buildings by 3% within a 2 tile radius and increases max. population of your city by 20.
• Collect Drumsticks during the event and participate in the event ratings.
• Use Drumsticks to purchase buildings, bonuses, item sets, and unique alliance badges in the event store.
• One more building, Karaoke Palace, will be available through direct purchase and will provide event collectible items for the duration of the event.

Snow will melt bringing green back to the city.

Question @Ur-quan : Many of us who did the event last year already have over 100 biker jackets in the warehouse. Have you checked that we will be able to collect the new 100 that will be necessary? We have no way of emptying the stock, or will the 100 automatically be counted?

Good catch. People with the 100 item limit had a big problem with that last year. If I remember correctly, it took a few days to fix, and the event had to be extended.

Yes. I read last years post this morning and thought “I can feel a disaster happening!” Especially as it’s only a 7 day event, normally!

Unless they are renaming the buildings, it looks like the Music Arena is getting a makeover. I like the new look.

I guess the makeover will happen with the update. It looks like the Festival Camping is changing a bit, too. Adding a tent, and different trees.

@Ur-quan bit worrying that there has not even been an acknowledgement that you’ve even seen this post let alone recognized that last year this caused a real problem. As @crescent moon says above you had to prolong the event. please tell us that the problem is either solved, or that you are aware of the problem. Thanks.
