You cannot beat a good pasty! Traditional I hope, and with the crimp around the edge not across the top? Apparently the original cornish pasties had the crimp around the edge so the cornish miners could hold it by the crimp, and not get the main part dirty, then chuck the edge away.

Hi - no, i wish, we are on holiday in some really nice log cabins in scotland, and it is one of the meals you can order from our hosts. Never thought to take a picture of it! Really good though. We are fine, and it is so good to get away, hope you are keeping well too!

Now we have just had a venison and red wine casserole - that was to die for.

It is, and we have had fish and chips at the best fish shop in North Yorkshire at White Horse Cafe at Thirsk, fab-u-lous!
