I think they are installing hacking programs. You can easily find them on the Internet. Or a convenient way - backup/restore. Fast and a lot of passengers transported.

So Im assuming being online constantly would slow down the backup/restore option, but I dont see it disrupting the use of hacking programs.

Most live in some remote village without internet and on gets on line once a month by flying a bush plane somewhere.

No I was very careful not to make a blanket statement, because I know there are some heavy fliers out there, but clearly something is going on behind the scenes if there are discussions about "getting the top spot". We've also seen our fair share of suspicious activities in the past as well.

So i am back i the game since some weeks with my alliance Tsunami.
I give you now some answer!!
So cheating on passengers is still possible with phone reset but its not so easy like before. The game save automaticly all 10 minutes! So i explane now!
You must have 75 k passengers in visa or in your airport!
So example, you have 10 condors = 100 flights = 75k pasengers! After 100 flightd you save the game, (hold volume down button and power button 6 secounds until your phone, tablet go off) you send your 10 condors to china, land it, send it, land it send it.... Until 100 flights! You must have enoughf fuel for it. (1700 = 10planes = 17000=100planes) After 100 flights you do reset on your phone, tablet... Volume down button and power button hold 6 secounds...
So you get 75k passengers vith condors on only one destination! So you can do it on all destinations!
Teams like pinokkio and rainbow get with this way every week so many passengers.
If you play fair you cant fly every week 200k passengers. Its not posible.
This Do the big teams in rankings, all of them are cheating this way how i explane!

Well this is quite a revelation, but the amount of fuel required to do this on a weekly basis....I know a lot of players have stacks of fuel from years past, but still. Wouldn't they eventually run out of fuel with the 100 item limit? Fuel rings can only help so much

This is nothing new from what was shared a few years ago on how to get massive passengers. The only difference is you say it isn't quite as easy to do and I am assuming that is because the game auto saves every 10 minutes? So you basically have to do all of the flights and device shutdowns between the autosaves to keep your passengers and fuel and reuse them again over and over.
Edit/Add: I am going to disagree with your 200k pax a week without cheating. It is totally possible to do that many each and every week without cheating. All you have to do is play the game.

Well what if the autosave window was reduced? Maybe the servers wouldnt have the storage capacity for it? But it seems the smaller the window, the harder it would be to pull off the stunt between autosaves.
This must be why @Towelie suggested being online all the time with no offline capability?

So fuel rings? You get every day from 20 friends 20 fuel 20l, so it 400fuel in the day, so its 2 condors 340f and 1falcon = 1850 passengers in 1 day!
It not works for 200k passengers in the week

Sure it is. Unless you consider fuel rings cheating. A well balanced airport with a visa center and a smart person can do this. I'm not there yet (smart but don't have the fleet or visa center yet).Its posible to do 200k in the week, but its not possible to do 200k every week

Ok, you say with fuel rings its possible, so how many fuel you need every day, from fuel rings to fly 200 k every week?
If you get every day fuel from 20 friend (20x 20 = 400 fuel)
How many you can fly in the week?
400 fuel x 7 days = 2800 fuel in the week! + fuel from rocket and your airport if you has unlimited passengers!
So how many passengers you can fly every week?????
I know that 200k its not possible every week and i have 10 black condors 🤔

First, Condors are not the best use of fuel for flying lots of pax. 60 fuel for 750 pax in 12 hours vs 45 fuel for 350 pax in 3 hours. You would be better off to have 10 black flacons than 10 black condors. Add a gold subscription (certainly not cheating), bonuses (which are easy to obtain with smart flights while running map runs or from adventure buildings) and some fuel rings and 200k is easily doable.
It's about planning and strategy. And maybe spending a bit of cash. 200k weekly can be done without cheating.
My post earlier was about a lower level player flying over 400k pax in half a day! With no visa center and nothing special about passenger buildings. Even if this person could get all the necessary fuel through dozens of fuel rings, there is no way they would be able to generate over 400k pax in 1/2 day. The only thing I could see is they had been flying completely offline for weeks - literally weeks. And finally connected 1/2 day after reset. But why would anybody do that? You've in the top 10 for about 1/2 day before the other alliances overtake you. No benefit.

So, first black condors fly 7 hour and i have too 3 black falcons.
So i not say 200 k in week is not possible, i say 200 k "every week" is not posible.
You can use gold abbo, weatherfan, and other bonus to rock it but after some weeks you are empty with all bonus, with fuel and passengers......
You need gold key for broking planes (2h), you need weatherfun (6hours) and other bonus...
You can fly a week more as 200 k but you cant do it every week.
Its not possible
When i fly hard i fly with jetpack, gold key, wheatherfun.3 black falcons, 10 black condors and 1 black giant.
Fly too with ql red rockets every day 20-30flights
But after some weeks i go empty with all. So 200 k every week..... "never"..

So @Mate if black condors fly 7 hours instead of 12, how long do you think black falcons take if the regular flight is 3 hours? Condors take 4x the time to fly as falcons - regardless of whether you are flying regular planes, S1s, S2s or S3s.
- Falcon 3 hours, Condor 12 hours (or 30% less than both those if you have black planes)
- Falcons 1400 pax in the same amount of time as one condor flight which carries 750k pax.
- Falcons fly 1400 pax with 180 fuel in the same time it takes condors to fly 750 pax with 110 fuel
Are you flying for bonuses every week? Do you have lots of adventure buildings? How much money do you spend on the game monthly? Do you have gold subscription? Do you play all day - landing guest planes for extra fuel and pax every chance you get?
Every opportunity I get, I'm flying for bonuses. And with adventure buildings, I get bonuses drop from them every week - including sky captains, vintage weathervanes and secret faucets. I fly about 120k pax weekly - I only started (this time) in February. I don't have a single falcon which are the most efficient passenger-wise - and I have been flying lots of swifts and hawks because I'm going for the stars from alliance destinations. It would be arrogant of me to assume there aren't TONS of people with a much more robust fleet than me, more adventure buildings, and who have more pax buildings and visa centers (which I don't) that would have no problem flying 200k pax per week.

Yes, the falcons are faster but the problem is fuel. I dont know now about the falcons but i think with jetpack and weatherfun the black falons are back in 50 minutes. So i have 3 of them and all 50 minutes to send it i need (45x3 =135 fuel) all 50 minutes! And if i play i am 14 hours in the game and i land all guest planes. Condors with weatherfun and jetpack are back under 4 hours (750pax) and to send it is 60 fuel. So you can do it some weeks but you go empty. I put too many money in this game but its only for the moment.
The last 3 weeks i fly so 120- 140k per week, this week i do so 500k - 700k,
(7 weatherfun, 5 jetpackack 7 gold key and many, many fuel from red rocket) Next 3 weeks i fly 100- 120k

Storage capacity would not necessarily be the issue, if the saving was just overwriting the same file each time that the file saves. Bandwidth and processor speed would probably be a larger problem. If you cut the time in half to 5 minutes you now have twice the number of files being received and saved. If you cut the time to 2 minutes you have 5 times as many files being received and processed.
The problem with going all online would be lag time. How long would it take for each action to be processed, and the results returned, before the next action can be completed. Now there are only certain parts of the game that happen in real time, such as rocket launches. I am sure we have all seen the lag time between when you push a fuel button and when the timer pops up and the fuel is added. Also the need to refresh the launch window to find the launch you are looking for.
So there has to be a balance achieved at some level. The more bandwidth and server speed Gi must maintain, the higher their cost, the more the game cost to be played, the less opportunity for cheating. Also the more the player pays, the more intolerable cheating becomes to the player.
