my game on my iOS device kept crashing, so I signed in on Facebook, deleted the app and reinstalled it, but it’s given me a brand new city.. how/where do I log in and get my original city back?

NEVER delete game in case of troubles. But, for a while, you can do restore by-your-self, just be logged on device with same login like you were before.
A window should appear that your game could be restored, choose the right game.
