iOS I've violated!?

  1. Hey guys,

    First time this has happened to me, gone on my support account and it says 'Your account has been found to violate our terms of service. Please contact support if you believe this is an error.'

    I've contacted GI :inpain:...hopefully they will respond soon, obviously I can't see or return any gifts and it's also showing all my neighbors are gone apart from t'old Maddy.

    I'm sorry but until they rectify this, that account is out of play :(

  3. Me neither, I put a blue on the pad on that account (by accident) (and yet again :banghead:) last night I couldn't be bothered so I thought I'd sort it this morning, now this has happened.

You know this has happened to my support twice now...all my neighbors disappear..until they fix...which normally takes 2-3 days... it’s faster when you provide the screenshot showing your time is set to automatically update...so if you haven’t sent...do that now to speed it up....also let them know you have not changed your time manually and that you are aware that this violation error is an ongoing problem amongst several players.

  5. I am having the same issue but support said my data has been moved to another device which I didn’t! Hope support can fix this soon too and meantime, I can’t send gifts either...sorry guys and gals!

  6. I sent a screen shot of it when it first happened but I'm not sure if it went through as when I got the automated email back from GI it wasn't showing underneath the copy of the email I sent to them. They haven't got back to me yet to confirm one way or another.
    That iPad never moves it's in the same position daily so they better not start suggesting time travel like they have with other's its never even been out of the house.

  7. Oh no, it seems to be happening to a few of us. I haven't moved data either but still awaiting a reply only had the automated one up to now. I hope they get you fixed soon.

Exactly my situation and iPad never moves from desk area...I only use it for AC...it’s my old old ome that I wasn’t using anymore...and yep time travel is what popped up when I click to see ratings...that’s where GI told me to click to see if issue was cleared...again took about 3 days each time...and the accused me if changing my time...why would I need to change time on a support account.

  9. It's so unfair the things they accuse us of, if only they'd accept there was some kind of error at the moment and spend a little more time fixing the source of the problem. I've never ever experienced anything like this with any other game I've played.

  10. Yeah my response was for them to get to the root cause of their issues instead of blaming the players since it’s obviously something wrong with their system that keep causing this issue with multiple players....

    This just happened to me also, it has happened one time in the past and always right before I reach an alliance goal or some other achievement. Ticket pulled (#8327875) hope it gets fixed quickly, very irritating. :( PC not left my desk, no travel nothing out of the norm... Need to travel 1 timezone this weekend.... are we not supposed to take our game with us??? Never heard of such ridiculous guidelines.

    Now that I read more messages here, I do now note that my normal turnover time is 7pm EDT, but it is now 6:40pm EDT and the clock says 19 hours until my next refresh/turnover. Something is messed up with AC clocks as this PC has been sitting on the same timezone, not turned off at all for days in the US Eastern TZ.

  14. When I see the AC clock running faster or even slower I now send tech request immediately before the violation error...it seems to happen to 2 out of 4 of my games...all on iOS...

    Once you get the error it’s faster when you provide the screenshot showing your time is set to automatically update...so if you haven’t sent...do that now to speed it up....also let them know you have not changed your time manually and that you are aware that this violation error is an ongoing problem amongst several players.

    I imagine this is what goes through everyones mind when they first receive one of these warnings. :unsure:
    As far as fixing the issue luckily it is much better than it used to be not sure it will ever be where it should be.

    I just got violation on my Windows 10 phone. I've done something I never do: I left the game running in the background for a long time (12 hours at least). When I've brought it back - bang: violation.
    Got canned response about setting the time straight.
    Well, this combined with new subscription "feature" looks like the Universe giving me a hint.

  20. Well done @Dzighnman - I only wish GIS would listen to our complaints about the 100 item warehouse issue - I am fed up with Corporate Bull responses to whenever I raise this as an issue.
