Helicopters Are Coming

Well, the word is out, the next big thing is the helicopters.

There're a few details I can share with you.

• Helicopters are coming to mobile versions first, we're aiming for an early December release.
• Facebook release of helicopters will follow in 2018.
• We'll introduce two helicopter types in the initial release, the Sparrow (pictured above) and the larger Crossbill.
• The third one, Goldfinch, is coming as well a bit later.
• There're lots of new destinations to explore, and all of them are natural wonders like Yellowstone National Park and Niagara Falls.
• Tourists are the new type of passengers for helicopters to carry, you'll be able to acquire them from new tourist buildings.
• Your airport area will need a lot of attention to build a heliport: many new buildings, and you'll produce everything needed to carry out flights by yourself through managing production chains.
• Certainly new collections and buildings to hunt from your heli flights.
• Best of all, the first helicopter will be accessible from level 8, so even those who just started their way in Airport City will be able to try out new things right away!

There're lots of things that both members of our team and players want to see in the game, but it takes time to do them. I hope everyone who wanted the helicopters will welcome the new gameplay they offer as it is a slightly different procedure than starting an airplane flight.

Helicopter fuel will be a special fuel that planes don't use, and you will produce it yourself. Since tourists are not usual passengers as well, you'll be able to fly both planes and helicopters at the same time.

It is an ongoing work to refresh old stuff throughout the game, we're not going to stop it. On the contrary, we're putting more effort into it these days than in previous years.

Sounds like we're going to need lots more land to accommodate the new buildings, which is fine.
However free2play, something needs to be done about planetarium drops, launch preps and launch boxes are much harder now, the old system with gold dice worked very well and should never have been "fixed".

If any one has ever been in a helicopter then they only carry a few people I don’t think this will help towards alliance totals much ....bob surely it’s better to always be moving upwards than being stood

Terminal
Repair base
Passenger buildings
Fuel building
Production building/Food/blanket etc

Lots of new stuff that probably would cost loads.
