iOS Blank White Screen after watching ads

    I believe there was a thread about this previously, but I can’t find it. This has been happening more and more frequently and It may be a ploy to get us to spend more greenies...but this is how I normally get my building supplies and speed up flights. I know there are other ways, but this is my preference in addition to the other ways.

    Each time the white out happens, I have to restart AC and I’ve lost the ability to watch another ad for a while. In addition, it uses one of the few that we are allowed and it doesn’t give me the item I was watching the ad for... it it happening at least 50% of the time now, if not more and it is frustrating...is anyone else having this issue?

    After the video ad finishes the screen is just white and the only way to get rid of it is to close AC.

You’ll notice that for most, or a lot, of the current ads that when it does work correctly, the screen usually goes white as it switches back to the game and credits you with whatever you might have (mis)clicked. It’s happening to me as well. It’s like the sequence of events locks up right at the end. Maybe someone should put in a ticket?

    I’ve had it happen where it goes to the white screen and then back to the game and yes I get the credit or item... but lately it will not go back to the game...I have to close out the game and I do not get credit...and yes, I’ll probably put in a ticket soon, wanted to see if the total whiteout was happening to anyone else...the one that doesn’t allow continue play until restarting the game.

    I logged a ticket (#8117046) with G! and they say they are aware of this problem and they are trying to fix it and the best time this would be fixed is to wait for the update, this was after I forfeited 5 videos for 5 aerosols (this was not my only loss by the way). They reimbursed me with 3 aerosols instead of 5.

    It happens sometimes with android. Not aware of a coloured screen, but you watch the video, then it switches back to the main screen and doesn't bring up the screen with the gift. Happens at least once each cycle of videos. Agree it seems to be a switching problem at the end. Have to look for the coloured screen, but not aware of it and don't have to restart the game.

    I’ve lost so many items to this including the Aerosols...it’s been happening for weeks now...I will probably put in a ticket also since I want to make sure they are aware the problem is with iOS also...

    It’s just a white blank screen. You would know if you see it and in order to continue playing, AC must be closed and started again to play.

    As you know the same has been happening to me on IOS with my new support account, I contacted GI and put in a ticket, there response was just the general advice that I have been doing they don't seem to accept the 'white screen' as a glitch...I replied and explained this was happening not just to me but to many users on IOS after the watching the videos the white screen appears...they are now asking for anyone experiencing this to send in a screen shot??? (off just a white screen, Hm?!) :arghh:
