Airport City - Must Have Features for 2015

If you guys think Christmas and Easter it's religious think first.
This easter is about rabbit and farmer market.
And the christmas is about santa claus that had nothing to do with christianity.
No Jesus in both of that occasions.

Thanksgiving if I'm not mistaken is a pagan thing isn't it.
@Juvenal I beg to differ here. These are primarily a religious event..no questions about it. What GI has done is celebrate the spirit behind these festivals and not get into the religion part of it which is really good (y) They can do the same thing with others..

I can give you example of Diwali in India..The spirit of this festival is victory of good over evil..light over darkness.. hence also called as festival of light :) And we have people of every religion in India celebrating the spirit of this festival..without getting religious about it ;) Its the same as christmas in the west (y)

First of all ...
All these events came alive by religious activity.

According to my knowledge Easter was celebrated when lord Jesus came to life again.
And Christmas is celebrated cozzz

Christians believe that Jesus is the light of the world, so the early Christians thought that this was the right time to celebrate the birth of Jesus. They also took over some of the customs from the Winter Solstice and gave them Christian meanings, like Holly, Mistletoe and evenChristmas Carols!


Soo my point is we should leave religion aside.
And pick out the way of celebrating it.
 
What I meant is.
In my time playing AC I keep thinking to myself why there is no Christian events that got to do with Christian activities.
Like in Easter why don't it be like flying to Jerusalem and Galilee.
The Easter we got is a rabbit thing with the egg.
And I don't know what is the connection with bag of healthy foods in Farmers Market :wacky:

Then I make an assumption that GI don't want to get real with religious activities.

Like why they have the Russians Victory Day quest only in russians language.
I sure that they want to do it because it's big in Russia but they know it can complicate things with other nationality.

The two assumptions mix and there you go .. what I been talking about.

For me personally I have no objections for the inclusion of Diwali and Chinese New Year.
The more quest the merrier (y)
But don't make it back to back because it's exhausting !

I am pretty sure GI don't want to get into all that religious controversies. Although there are a lot of people that will just brush it off and think it is just for fun, so many other people take religions seriously that they would kill for religion, so easily offended. There are people who are just offended by every little thing, they take the fun out of life. GI must not want to touch that.

I would like the gifting process to be made more precise.. I often mis-click gifts trying to scroll along.. :(
Could it be adjusted so players must press a 'send item' button at the bottom of each gift or a dialogue box asking "are you sure you want to send 'gift' to 'player'.."

It could have been suggested before, but it would be great to have a mini QL bonus. Duration say, 3 or 4 hours. When flying for the big brother real QL bonus, these mini QL's could be earned on the in between stops. Let's say after 1 and 2 stars on the space flights or after completing 1 collection with the space maps. Creation Myths completed? Not just some coins and experience points, but a mini QL also :). This would surely be very popular.

Can we have a space catalyst which can speed up spaceship 1-2 hour's or more.
We can get it by some space collection or so, not by gifting.
It will be helpful for lower level player's who does green launches as they have to wait 24 hours for just 6000 coins and some xp.

I don't know if this has been requested before but I would like an easy way of restoring my game if I break/lose my phone..
Maybe by binding it to an email address & using restoration keys or similar..?
I understand there currently is no easy way to do so at the moment and if I drop my phone I could potentially lose my city & all my progress :(
I'm a bit of a 'butterfingers' with phones and I've dropped a few :|

The challenge is that most of the game -- except for the social features -- is resident on the phone, not on the GI servers. So if the phone is destroyed, GI may or may not be able to help.
Does Windows Phone have a back-up/restore feature? I have an iPhone and have it set to automatically back-up every morning. So when I get a new phone, I do a restore from the iCloud back-up to the new phone. I would assume Windows Phone has something similar.

Windows phone uses Onedrive to do similar for your contacts, photos etc. But the apps & games are stored on the device and not backed up in cloud.. I'm pretty new to Airport city but have played MMO games before and i know I would've been devastated if I lost my Age of Sorcery account last time I lost my phone.. Luckily AoS has a restore feature (due to it being a mostly cloud based game..)
But I do wander what I'll do if god forbid something happens to my current phone with regards to getting my account back..

In many cases where GI bugs are involved, they give the player a code which restores their game from a certain point. Tell them you are concerned about losing your AC game if your phone is damaged and if there's a way they can restore a game from their end if tragedy does strike. You might get peace of mind from their answer.

I would like to suggest that we have some feature that helps us get more green cash. I believe in the older version there was a bank and casino features that could generate these greenies. It would be nice to have them back.

Another way could be to exchange "x" number of coins for these green cash. This could also be such that, as levels increase, more coins be required for the cash. Maybe you could "buy/exchange" the coins through duke crocker when he visits the city once a week/fortnight.

I think it's high time to change the Daily Bonus. Current list has nothing useful except Fuel.Thus my idea for Daily Bonus is :;
Day 1: 2000 coin's
Day 2: 4000 coin's
Day 3: Fuel 20
Day 4: Fuel 50
Day 5: 3 Banknotes
Day 6: 4 Banknotes
Day 7: 1 Gold or 10 silver Token's

This way basic needs of all the player's will be fulfilled and they will feel motivated to play the game everyday as they will get better and better rewards each day.
Also we will get 10 banknotes(7 via daily bonus & 3 via weekend code) in a week which will help us in purchasing land in easiest way.
I have seen some player's leaving this game at early stage stating that getting land is expensive.
This method of daily bonus will cater to all of their problems.

After reading all the ideas posted in the thread I found some of them interesting and I share their thoughts.
Also I would like to add a few other additions which could benefit the game.
1. Frequency of dropped items from specific flight could improve with the experience of the player (if the player is Master of flight on some specific destination - players drop rate could improve for at least one level.
2. To create some other way of getting golden tokens (not only winning top 100 flight weekly competition (Unfortunately due to some issues with my game i'm unable to participate in those competition and i'm unable to win any golden tokens). My first game blocked last autumn - when one of updates arrived - had to start from scratch (helpdesk helped me to get some of my buildings i earned with addition of some coins and bucks I had but since then I cannot compete in weekly competitions - so I play with handycap - unable to win any golden token
3. Suggestion for adding some daily task (for example if you land 100 guest planes in a day you get 1000 coins, if you get that every day at the end of the week you get 3 banknotes) - landing 100 guest planes requires to play actively for almost 2 hours - and for someone playing for 2 hours a day through whole week should be rewarded.
4. Adding banknotes reward for event completion (or even with some golden tokens - as event completion also requires to play very actively for some time - and that could also be rewarded).

other ideas - like better listing through warehouse, less sensitive gift exchange while scroling, fuel improvement and to have solid fuel station as random drop building (not only solid fuel) sounds like a very good ideas.

I really like your ideas, i would gladly support 3 & 4, if i could :D
