2 more ideas to improve the game.
First: when a plane lands a small temporary pop up appears next to it when you tap it to let you know where it arrived from.

Second: when you are selecting a flight destination, if the flight requires a flight item (beacon, hose etc) the numbers of each item you have in stock could be shown in the icon for the item.

It would be great, but looks like GI's goal is the exact opposite. Eg when you speed up repairs with an item there WAS a counter but it got removed.
