I accept that on items purchased from the store there is a limit of 6 deployments for each building type. However I do not think this is very fair when buildings are won from collections such as Smart Houses or House of Doubts. Alternatively the gift for completion should change to something else once your limit is reached

So you want a two tier system, one for advance players and other for new or lower level players.
GI has enough problems with bugs in the game across multiple platforms.

Now you want GI change reward collections for players who have collected the maximum, what will happen to players who still have to start the collections or on the lower levels.

While it would be fair, it'd be also completely unplayable. My 6 Smart Houses already are the most important producer, giving me bulk of my passengers. If I could build more of them, I would never build anything else.


Alternatively the gift for completion should change to something else once your limit is reached.
This is a good idea, but there are many, many problems to be ironed out. Eg how does it count when you have "limit" ?
The times you've completed collection? - when you sell one Smart House, you'll lose it for ever.
The buildings you have deployed? - you'll never make the switch for the ones you don't like.
The buildings deployed+inventory? - sounds like the best solution, but if you don't like some, you'll still HAVE to keep 6 of them in inventory just to get the other reward.

Also, the "unlimited" reward will have to be much, much less valuable than the "limited" reward. I can't really see what could it be to not upset the balancing. Maybe some consumables, like coins, passengers and fuel. But then, people will whine it's not useful. Well, that's the point - if it's too useful, it has to be limited to 6 buildings max!

I have visited cities that have 10 stone castles. How does that happen?
There was a bug once that allowed 10 instead of 6 of some buildings. The bug was fixed, but people with 10 buildings were allowed to keep them. This is how 10x Rocket Garden happened.

Actually, I think that GI is fair with the maximum buildings (6 each) because you can accumulate your 6 buildings easily and for the higher level players, once they have more than 6, they can sell them and receive some coins, that's ok.

The only problems when we sell extra buildings are:
1- GI could raise the amount of coins when we sell them
2- Some buildings (the one that need items to built them or greenies) are difficult to sell cause you will need the necessary items or greenies to put them back in your city
