Would you explain about an alliance?

Do only top 100 ranking alliances gain alliance points? If so then the 'non-elite' can not even level their alliance to make up for not having a chance of maps. Anyone in an alliance that has points able to explain what they did to earn them?

Don't quote me but I believe you get 1 point every week, regardless of ranking.
Our alliance got rank 308 (crap, I know), and got 1 point I think. I don't pay too much attention to alliance stuff, pretty pointless without being super up there.

Only joined late in the week so a 2000 rank with no points. I will see this week when it's been a full week at least, how far down the points go. But nice to see even lower ranks can get a point or two along the way.

Still don't understand the 5.5mil passengers after a couple of days lol so lucky I'm not trying to push up there :p

I have a question about alliance. Maybe there is someone who can answer...

Let's say alliance got 4 members and they received chest with 2 maps. It means that every member got 2 maps? or "Alliance boss" got it? or Those members with most passengers send (2 members with most passengers send got 1 map each)?

I am definitely liking the revised bonus schedule for rankings. However, I still wish that iOS and Android would have their own rankings. As an iOS only player we are at a huge disadvantage to Android players as they had the alliance well before we did and therefore got reputation points faster. I see many alliances in the rankings with as many as 8 players - very unfair advantage with 4 more players counting toward the ranking!!

I sort of made a comment regarding Windows players as well, as we didn't get the upgrade until just before Christmas; when we began the Christmas Event.
However when taking on members, as @Cluck had said, it does take some time to get into the top 100. Once there and remain there, it is not long before you've added a 5th teammate, then a 6th, and soon you end up with a very good group of people.
I myself have two alliances in the playing field, one staying within the top 100 and the other, taking things a bit slower.
However I would definitely not trade, nor expel any one of them for the world.

I agree with you, but I have a lot of great Android neighbors that already were in alliances and had no more room. So when we finally got alliances, there was no way to catch up. I am very happy with my current alliance & we are in the top 75. However, we just expanded to 6 members this past week. Almost every alliance in the top 50 has 8 or more members. We won't be at 8 members for at least a couple of months.

Yet with some setbacks we've all encountered either through our platform upgrades or the game upgrades we still persevered, and continue to do so climbing upward and forward at all times.
I can think back just how the Windows PC players created there own kinds of challenges since we could not visit all but Madeline, Launches were glitching; as well as missed out on other things. However we made the best of it. Fun and friendship.

if you have a good group of neighbours who exchange gifts regulalry, and assuming that you are not going to play 24/7, what is the purpose of joining an alliance? I joined one to try and see what it was about but I dont see any tangible benefits coming from membership.

There are benefits, but it's kinda advanced players only gonna get it.. Can he join our alliance for a bit ???
