Quick question: Am I missing something with launching strategy? Why do you wait so much to invest your points?

Today I invest almost all my points :(

I had only 54 (6+2*12+24) points excluded solid fuel and gold prize from yesterday. For example Yesterday I used all my big points, was about 700-800.

In last few months I launched every day. Sometimes I had only 12 points (solid fuel only), sometimes I had over 1000 points. 24 hours is enough to visit friends for Launch Ready Boxes and send flights to Cape Canaveral.
In most cases I wait and add my points after two or four hours, generally wait for three or four other people.

I have a lot of neighbors who joined to my launch.

In most cases I send post to forum with information how many points needed and how many neighbours joined, how many is my points backup.

About QL parties, if you have 3 neighbours with QL bonus on, is the time lower than 2 neighbours with QL bonus on?

Generally yes, but sometimes don't work in Windows Phone version. Should work for other in launch, too. Last time work for @lacey who join to launch and after 15m join again.
1QL is about 2h 23m
2QL is about 15m
3QL is about 1m

I think in this time 2QL is enough.

Last times I started unexpected "QL party" with @Ispmark. As many as/only five starts in 24h. We were I was not ready. It is requires a lot of points as backup. I didn't have a lot of points, but neighbours help us :)
@Ispmark can say how it's work for person who used QL.
@lacey, @JaxJaguars can say how it's work for person who not used QL.

@Raf yes, it does speed it up for me if there is 2 people with quantam leap. however, when there was just one (you maybe the previous week) it was the normal 24 hours for me. @Faith1984 is leading a green launch right now. i had already clicked on the green launch, so i cannot join a blue launch until i complete the green launch. looking for others to join :)

From my experience, the times you posted are correct. But QL only works one time for me. Second launch is regular 24 hours.

I just finished visiting neighbors so tried to add more points to the launch. When I did this, the game popped up and said time travelers and cheaters can't shoot for the stars or something. Then it didn't add the points, and took away my items! I was just playing as normal, not even traveling for work for the past months...

This has happened to me several times as well. You should collect as much facts as possible, for ex screenshot next time, and send complaint to support. Unfortunately they are slow in their helping innocent gamers. But with polite attitude and persistence it works out. They now have to unlock your game with a code that they wil eventually send you. Very very annoying when it happens, but don't give up.
Keep emailing the support until they help you properly.
