Android problems starting the game

since the last update, my game has problems with start-up. I click the icon, the screen turns black (longer than before) and a lot of times it stays black and I have to reboot the device.

I have that problem with my second device. Cleared the cache, rebooted the device, reloaded the game and nothing worked. I just didn't bother with it anymore. My niece uses it most of the time so I didn't contact GI. If all else fails contact GI. They aren't totally useless.

On this point they probably are useless. they game becomes more unstable. Today I lost all gifts of the last 12 hours :-( It is almost impossible to start the game. Last time this happened, I lost my game for over 1 month

On my Samsung Tab (Bali2), the game becomes unstable after a couple of hours. The game goes blank & shuts down, usually when I visit neighbours. Load up time takes longer too.

So I have to restart the tablet every few hours to make sure that it doesn't happen to avoid losing progress.

Had the same issue flip123 described, it stops at the first black screen (where you have the logo on the top left corner) and does not continue to the next white screen. It doesn't happen all the time, maybe a couple of times a day and had to clear cache, force stop and sometimes restart device.

Hi all,
VAYKA1 is on a Samsung Tab 1 and NOYA12 is on a Samsung Tab 3.
The games have only 1 problem. When visiting friends, i can visit 2 or 3 in a row.
When i want to scroll down the list to visit someone else, the list freezes and i must return to my
AC- page. After that i can scroll down the list again. This problem happens 2 or 3 times. Anyone else has this problem????
AYON1 is on a Advantix Tab and after the last update i've got the same problem as flip123.
Starting up the game takes very long, when it has loaded the game, it takes a long time when it starts.
Everytime getting a pop-up saying: Airport City doesn't respond, would you like to shut down or wait.
Mostly i tap "wait" and than it's crashing. Result----------> Loosing all the gifts
Clear cache, force stop and reboot doesn't help at all. So that's why the game isn't sending gifts out since the last update,
because i'm getting sick and tired from it.

Ooh, i forgot something.!!!!!!!!!!!
I've bought a new device today, a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4
flip123 , Bali Hi or someone, plz. advice!!!
I know i have to install AC and play a few levels, than contact GI to ask for
transferring my game AYON1 to that device. Is it smart to do that while AYON1 is having severe problems????
I also bought it for the future if my Tab 1 (VAYKA1 main account) is going to have problems. The Tab 1 is
already 3 1/2 years old and is used every day by me or my husband.
PLZ. Advice for the new Tab.

Nice experience I have made this week as well related to the game starting problem. On Tuesday my game crashed and I was not able to restart it. All the recommendations related to clearing cache, forcing stop of the game and restarting phone did not help. Today is Saturday and I am still waiting for the GI response to finally solve the problem. I have deleted the data and started the game again, applied for restoring code and waiting and waiting. Got nice email today stating that my problem will be solved within the next 5 days. Hope it will be sorted out soon.

Finally, after couple of days I have got restoration code. It surprised me as the procedure took a long time and the explenation was realted to thorough investigation. Yep, the new update still didn't fix the start up problem, still have to force stop the app from time to time.

The way we play Airport City, no wonder the tablet gets tired...
