I didn’t update iOS...the event just popped up when I opened the game.

I have it only on my PC. Main game is still waiting. The reward is better then last year (5% bonus on pax).

There is a few differences between the real world cup and this event. The first quest should have been to pay some coins to FIFA (bribe them) to get the Word cup in your town.

During the construction of the stadium at least a few dozen of your population should be killed in accidents.

Note of clarification: After a game hard exit, the game launches with the event active for 13d 18h (same as Android).

A question: Did anyone store their stadiums from previous event?
I think I stored 4 completed stadiums, but I had to rebuild them from scratch (need construction items)

You have to either 1. collect items from the cottages or villas to get the collection or 2. visit people who have stadiums.

Make sure you get the 12 new buildings (6 each) and put them in storage if you don't have room. They may be needed as your city grows. Most bigger cities with mostly passenger buildings have Brazilian Villas all year round.

We didn’t need another event!!! I didn’t even bother with the last one because I was so far behind on all of my objectives. I might just do some of the flights as my Turboprops are only fly to Cape for the sake of it, and then I’ll be on the leagues and get some coins. I can’t be asked to complete all of the collections though, as the reward is slightly naff and I’ve got loads of stuff in storage at the moment as I’m out of space and electricity.

Each Stadium requires 4 Benches, 4 Goal Posts, 4 Video Boards, 4 Robotic Lawnmowers.
